November Updates in 2026
Thu Nov 5 17:42:34 UTC 2026

We haven’t had time to do much gaming lately, we’ve been working double duty lately.

Let’s tell you quickly what we’ve been up to.

Files…. files

We’re now hosting a file archive, which will be available via a few different means to people.

something may be at ftp dot idtech dot space or something

It’s obviously going to be used as the backbone for our new-and-upcoming sister site which will serve an archive of game addons. Why? Games on the Arcade will also be able to utilize these files.

Videos

We’ve been working on moving away from other video streaming platforms because our interests, values no longer align.

You can find an archive of 1500+ videos on id tech already on VIDTECH SPACE.

That’s gonna cover most of the games on this site for sure.

We also got permission from artists like LolMan4409 to host his videos! Some of which have since been removed from other platforms against his will.

CS on the Arcade

This summer we dumped a beta version of CS onto the arcade.

People have been enjoying it, but we’re working hard on a non-beta version. Hopefully this Christmas.

Archiving took a lot of time out of us this year, and that was sadly more important. For example, we just lost AusGamers this summer during our archival work.

Nuclide Development Video Channel

The technology behind a few games on the Arcade, Nuclide, has its development moved over from YouTube to VIDTECH SPACE.

Demo Discs

When I (eukara) was growing up in the city streets of Berlin, we used to find PlayStation demo discs in the dirt and in the bushes. Sometimes you could say they were littering the streets. Well, we sure did love those demo discs either way.

You can go play some, maybe find something you never played before and liked.

All of the games provided are limited demos. They’ve never been sold to consumers. We have been keeping this to NOT-FOR-RESALE discs. We will not add anything with a UPC code or a price tag, such as the PSU Jampack discs. We’re also using this free-software BIOS to run the discs themselves.

You may also find those available for streaming on the Internet Archive.

Many thanks to Dangerboy of Game-Rave for the scanned images of the discs and their sleeves.
